About this crickets
Crickets on a summer night: two crickets close by, one on each side, and a field of them far away. Each chirp is three or four short pulses, the way a real field cricket rubs its wings. It is the classic sound of an awkward silence, so put it after a joke that falls flat or a question no one answers. It also works for a calm night scene. Made in code, so you can use it anywhere.
2.80 s long, loudest at 1.70 s. Stereo WAV, 48 kHz, 16 bit, peak at −1 dBFS. Designed for Takes in code, built the way the well-known sound is made: no recording inside. Free for any video, paid or not. No credit needed.
